Our Story
It was Christmas together as homeowners. We could not wait to get our ornaments hung on our first tree. After purchasing multiple packs of ornaments, it soon dawned on us that they didn’t come with hangers.
We started with the metal hangers that my wife and I both knew since childhood but found them to be way too unreliable and flimsy- especially when our cats decided to test them out for us.
We then tried knotting our own string instead. My wife quickly became frustrated by the variety of odd lengths as well as the time it was taking to cut, loop, and tie in an aesthetically appealing manner.
Then came the idea for String Hangers. An easy, appealing, and durable product to hold our Christmas ornaments safely and beautifully on the tree. After using them ourselves we could not believe there was not an equivalent product on the market and that’s when String Hangers were born!
String Hangers launched Christmas 2020 online and were an instant success! We sold out of all of our inventory, within a few days of the start of the holiday season!
